Subject: [OpenDataBC] BC Legislation under a permissive license
To: "opendatabc at googlegroups.com" <opendatabc at googlegroups.com>
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, if you missed it, that all BC
Legislation is now released under a permissive license
<http://www.bclaws.ca/standards/2014/QP-License_1.0.html> with the
associated API <http://www.bclaws.ca/civix/template/complete/api/index.html>
and raw XML available for use. I know some of you were involved in the
Queen's Printer Hackathon a couple of years ago and I can't tell you how
much that event helped with the final push to release the data. So thank
you!
More data will be added to the site over the upcoming months. If you have
any comments or questions please let me know. Herb, maybe a good time to
dust off the old yourule site!
Kind regards,
Spencer
