What is refreshing is all the supporting documentation that come with the
indicator and the data, assumptions, data quality, data sources and so on.
This is how all data should be described. That way we know what we are
working with and we can decide if these data fit our use case, or if they
are accurate, reliable, valid and so on.
My issue with most open data portals, is this information is lost.
If you search air quality in data.gc.ca, this is all gone and the portal
does not point back to the source. It should be pointing to these links at
Environment Canada.
