[CivicAccess-discuss] Canada launches spending database without transactional spending data?

Hi all,
I set up a data browser for the recently released expenditure database.
Access it here -- http://spenditures.ca
This is high level budget data. It doesn't include transactions, to answer
Anders' question.
Some budget items are in the 10s of billions, so you could say it's lacking
in detail.
Nonetheless, if you want a big picture of what the government is spending
money on, this page can help.
